Rafi M D obtained his MBBS degree from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and MD from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. He is currently professor of Biochemistry affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences. Extremely popular among the UG and PG student community for his well-structured, lucid and stimulating classroom sessions, Dr Rafi is known for his ability to deconstruct complex observations into a series of simple steps, a style that is reflected in his treatment of the complex concepts and mechanisms of biochemistry in this book. He is also engaged in training programmes for PG entrance examinations. He has several research publications in national and international journals to his credit.
